No coping mechanisms are working with me so I thought I might try agere but I’m worried i would tap into the feelings of feeling lost, angry, and hating a lot of my childhood
I wish that we could give you some better advice here, but agere is not something that we got into deliberately or with intention.
It’s just something that happens to some of us every now and then.
Some of us lean into it, some of us try to resist it sometimes.
I can’t deny that agere experiences can make you feel extremely vulnerable.
But I feel like in a safe space, and especially with a partner or other figure you can trust, exploring that space can be very rewarding.
As someone who also had some extremely negative childhood experiences (to put it lightly), agere lets me reclaim some of my childhood and build happier experiences now.
