Mental health talk (sent that too early im sorry ) its difficult to give advice for ocd with autism, overcoming sensory needs is all about finding work arounds ‘Oh if you struggle with drinking water maybe try this other thing!“ but it might be that listening to OCD, and finding work arounds for OCD might make it worse as it involves leaning it to it somewhat? Do you have any thoughts?
That sounds like a really difficult balancing act to strike, anon, I’m sorry that you’re struggling with these issues.
I’m not sure that I have any specific advice to give– we have a lot of experience with anxiety, and autism, but not OCD specifically.
Maybe there’s someone following us who has some good advice. Please feel free to chime in!
