The police have harassed almost every person in my family, killed my dad, and I’ve had them called on me. Grant it, it was a wellness check because people thought I was suicidal, but someone like me who is of color didn’t need that shit after the history of them negatively affecting their life. I had a god damn panic attack when that happened. So no, I don’t think it’s “privileged” to compare people who threaten to call the cops or the FBI on people for shipping, fancops. Because they’re not that different in trying to ruin people’s lives.
