does anyone else remember those websites where you’d go and like… register your yourself as ‘married’ to a specific anime boy? Geocities and angelfire type stuff.
Randomly remembered those today and honestly I kind of miss them. Seeing the galleries of pictures of anime boys and captions under them that read stuff like ‘Inuyasha married to xXShadowgurl165412Xx on 8/12/1998’ was kind of adorable.

I didn’t until this very frigging second and now it’s all coming back to me. The shitty ‘trainer cards’ we all made and the equally terrible ‘I caught Character’ cards that had all been resaved by every fan at the time so many time the jpeg compression on them looked like a portal to a different dimension…
Oh man I would love making some of those for some more modern fandoms.
