Rules of fandom:
- If two characters exist, someone will ship them. It doesn’t matter if they’ve never met in canon. It doesn’t matter that they are a crossover pairing. It doesn’t matter that it is problematic.
- If you call attention to the fact that people ship X pairing, more people will ship X pairing since they now know it exists.
- Trying to fight either of those rules will cause you endless heartache, so it is better to accept it as a part of life.
