Saw an anti post that quite literally said “proshipping is an unhealthy coping mechanism, you are only retraumatizing yourself and normalizing/romanticizing your own abuse” “you are normalizing/romanticizing your own abuse”. At least the unhealthy/retraumatizing bit tries to sound like concern. But they are going full mask off. No one is EVER responsible IN ANY WAY for their own ABUSE. I know you know this I’m just SPITTING mad. Not quite as mad as the person that said “if you’re lying about being a CSA victim to write brothers fucking online you know you’re in the wrong” (I am rarely so mad that I cry, but as a victim that made me break down from ANGER), but quietly and coldly furious.
It’s victim blaming all the way done with antis.
They blame victims who cope through fiction for their own abuse.
And they absolve actual abusers for their crimes by blaming fiction for ‘making’ them do it.
