Genuine question about your “how long do they have to be dead” poll, would the same logic apply to true crime?
The poll is about your personal comfort level regarding rpf/historical figures in fiction, and isn’t about determining any kind of moral or ethical principle.
So yes, the same logic applies to true crime; people have different personal comfort levels when it comes to how long ago a crime should have been before the idea of fiction about it no longer makes them uncomfortable.
