“how can you think that [x] type of fiction is normal???”
i don’t think it’s normal. but, at the same time, i don’t think it’s unnormal, either.
if you ask me, there’s no “normal fiction” and “unnormal fiction”. there’s no “moral fiction” and “immoral fiction”, and there’s no “bad fiction” and “good fiction”.
there’s just… fiction.
it’s divided into categories, genres, media types, themes, tags, artstyles — but there’s no fiction that is labelled as “ordinary” and “unordinary”.
if you’re saying someone is or isn’t “normal” based solely on the fiction they consume or support? that’s judging someone’s morality based on something that isn’t even real, which is ridiculous.
there is no “normal” and “not normal” fiction — there’s just fiction.
