Sorry to rant in your inbox, but the reblog of that post with that anti telling off a 12 year old girl like??? EXCUSE ME? Why is it a fucking debate and fight to allow people enjoy and explore themselves through creative outlets??? If a 12 year old or anyone for that matter want to broaden their world view with art or writing with different cultures, experiences good or bad, discover interests why do some people think it’s a bad thing? I just don’t fucking get it. Even if antis make points sometimes and they rarely do from what I see there is not a damn thing wrong with people expressing themselves through those means when they can’t. Let kids explore and have fun. Let adults work through issues and have an escape from reality once in a while. Writing and art allows people to connect on such a broad term in every sense of the word and if you try to censor that you have such a narrow minded view I feel sorry for the antis honestly.
People are desperate to control the behavior of children and shame them for anything. Especially the behavior of perceived teenage girls.
