speaking of US law and drawings theres someone in a ficto community im in whos like super judgy about the ages of ppls f/os, believes aging up is gross, says ppl shouldnt have f/os without canon ages just to “be safe”. today I found a post where they mention they actually report ppl to a REAL child exploitation hotline/site who draw NSFW of characters under 18. Imagine tryna help real kids and getting inundated with “help! someone drew an anime character kissing!!” like hahaha what?
Real, actual law enforcement agencies and child services have been begging people to stop reporting fiction because it wastes their time and interferes with their ability to help real minors.
