It’s even worse when they use false moral outrage to pad their hateful arguments.
“Everyone, just look at what this person is doing! I find this personally distasteful so I’m gonna bully them under the guise that it’s morally wrong!”
Because then it’s glaringly obvious that the haters are shrieking to their audience and waiting for applause to reinforce their deplorable behavior.
