Seeing a lot of anti-Asian sentiments from fancops being discussed(which it should be), but allow me to address anti-BIPOC sentiments as well. Just a few that come to mind. – “Freaks of Color” a statement directed towards black fans of Reylo. Along with calling them race traitors, cause how dare these fans like this ship over Finrey. – A large harassment campaign towards fans of Zutara. Specifically towards those who were of color and/or minors. Going as far as to call them animals and needing to be studied in a zoo. I also got hit with white antis coming after me because I said they had no place to speak for Indigenous women. – Giving the English VA of Miruko from MHA shit for not sounding black enough…the VA herself is black. – At one point a fancops kept stealing someone’s OCs and white washed them calling them “fixed.” – Are very quick to turn on someone of color if they step out of line quicker than a white anti who got caught grooming. While also quick to use these fans as a “got’cha” with that “A lot of us are poc” shit. Did I miss any?
That’s a pretty good (and very unpleasant) summary of the ones I’m aware of.
