Man, the last year or so of leftists going full bore into supporting copyright law truly does make me nervous.
Whether you have millions of fans or one single solitary fan, the view is the same: fuck your copyright. Art theft is when someone just takes your work and says it’s theirs. Scribbling on it is enough to make it transformative media. That’s literally the foundational art piece of Dadaism. If your definition of “not art” or “art theft” includes Fountain by Marcel Duchamp, you aren’t having a “difference of opinion” (🤮 at the phrase). You are wrong.
