that video (about the zora girl and the hylian guy) has been bothering me too. the zora girl in question even says she’s of age, she just hasn’t hit her growth spurt yet, meaning, like… she’s just a short adult. she’s considered an adult by the people she’s around in terms of age and personality, iirc, she’s just short. she’ll start growing pretty soon and eventually tower over the guy. also, mipha is around link’s height, meaning she’s probably mid-growth spurt, and no one has an issue with that…? normally i enjoy the youtuber’s other works, but that one has just… made me sad. so many people in the zelda fandom feel the need to make random moral judgements about the characters in the series, despite the adult side of the fandom being alive and well for the entire duration of the series’ popularity. like, someone was talking about not making nsfw of zelda because she’s 17… ignoring that in botw she wasn’t sealed away for a hundred years like link, she was awake and conscious fighting ganon the whole time. i think she’s old enough and mature enough to consent, by that standard.
