There is an new thriller manga called Step-dad Seduction. It’s about a guy who got married to someone with an daughter, this daughter gets too attached and basically goes yandere. He doesn’t feel the same, and it is spelled out that what she is doing is wrong and that she isn’t a good person. Another character at one point basically says “if I had a stepdaughter like that I wouldn’t hold back” and the dad puts a stop to it immediately, and calls the other character gross. Every advance she does the dad stops it immediately and thinks she is creepy. 🐜s saw the announcement(?) Post of it, and all their replies are “we should get rid of japan”/“of course Japan makes that 🤢” or acting like they were wronged and dying. Even when the genre isn’t romance and when the bad stuff is spelled out as bad, their not happy. So no point in trying to make them happy, but hey because of them commenting the post got more attention (thanks to the algorithm) so I found a new pretty good book imo.
The xenophobia and racism out of the fancop community is as awful and widespread as the ableism.
