/genq how do I explain the difference between “fictional stories about children in explicit situations don’t groom children, groomers groom children” and “guns don’t kill children, people kill children”? I’m fairly confident there’s a difference but I’m not entirely sure exactly how
Simple. One is fiction, and one is reality.
Guns are physical objects with which one’s killing prowess may be amplified manifold by it’s use, allowing a single human to potentially end multiple lives at the single pull of a trigger.
Stories are ideas that exist in people’s heads.
