So we’re doing a research project on NYC in the 1970s and 80s and the conditions that led to it becoming an iconic setting in film and comics of the era, and thus essentially becoming a fantasy setting when written in the modern day.
And you have got to see this very real pamphlet distributed by the NYPD as a power play against the mayor in 1975.
