I feel like antis would have a field day criticizing western animation and I don’t mean adult cartoons Phineas and Ferb: in this cartoon Ferb and Doofenschmirtz’ daughter Vanessa slowly form a crush on each other and end up together in the future. However, Ferb is 10 and Vanessa is 16 but no one yells pedophilia at the creator I’ve seen exactly one post with little engagement calling Vanessa a predator. And only one comment criticizing the creator. But no one called them a pedo
here’s the criteria for fancops going after a piece of media and calling it bad and evil:
- they have heard of the media
- they don’t like the media
- someone they don’t like likes the media
- someone else used progressive language to falsely paint the media as harmful
