“Cycle of abuse” is a super interesting turn of phrase given that anti culture filled the abuse vacuum that appeared when fandom started to get rid of bullying against “cringe” stuff.
“stop this cycle of abuse!! By abuse I mean art and scenarios and fans I DONT LIKE CUZ I FEEL INADEQUATE COMPARED TO THEM!!”
Meanwhile while in antiship groups if you don’t agree 100% with them, they:
-tell you to die
-tell you you are broken
-claim you are a pedophile and this are dangerous
-incite witch-hunts and attempt to deplatform you
-oh you have a life outside of online bs? Guess what!! Your safety is secondary so now they’re going to DOX you
But gee, that’s not abusive!! Nope!! Not abusive at all!!! /sarcasm
