Fiction that graphically describes violence is sometimes meant to be sexually exciting, and sometimes not meant to be sexually exciting.

Just like fiction that graphically describes sexual activity is sometimes meant to be sexually exciting and sometimes not meant to be sexually exciting.

And no one can truly know the author’s intent for either one unless they state it plainly.

No author is required to state their intent, whether they are writing graphic violence or graphic sex.

Both are equally morally neutral.

It is also morally neutral to be aroused by either, both, or neither.
