He is a scientist and a healer and a man of violent, towering compassion and ego in equal measures.
He will conquer and kill death. He will fistfight god if he has to, and he will bring a pistol to that fistfight.He wears black gloves, and tall boots and a snakeskin coat. He comes into town like the serpent into the garden. His hair is oiled and his eyes are dark, his nose is strong, and his lips are slightly over-wide. There is a crease over his nose, just between his brows, from the expression he makes when he is annoyed.
He is curt, and he is sardonic, and he condescends as easily as he breaths.
And I love him. I love him in a terrible, yearning and bashful manner. He makes my heart weak and strong. He makes me feel small enough to fit in his arms, and I want him hold me and tell me how ridiculous I am.
