What Is a Pig Butchering Scam?
My friend’s dad is not the kind of person I would have expected to fall for a scam like this, but he did, even after we all did power point presentations and three TEDx talks for him.
So I’m just sharing this info here (linked from WIRED) to hopefully save someone’s parents from getting ripped off by bad people.
Watch out for this and don’t get caught in one!
