So many antis sound homophobic despite being queer.
“This gay rep is bad, because it perpetuates stereotypes by having this gay man be flamboyant.” (read up on gay culture. Also, there are real people like that. Are they “bad” (unpalatable to the straights” too?)
“Do you have to talk about badwrong content where kids can see it and think its okay?” (Homophobes said this to us all of the time.)
Not to mention the standards for any show with queerness in it is ABSURDLY high.
I can’t be the only one that sees it, right?
It’s thick on the ground!
also don’t forget how they act towards gay rep with toxic ships as the gay rep. that’s where i see them act the most homophobic. i’ve even seen antis claim such ships make them wanna be homophobic. and at this point idk if i can see those claims as jokes anymore.
