what are the best methods/tactics to see really old tumblr posts, preferably with a specific tag?
So yeah I just tried xkit’s “scroll to bottom” feature.
It scrolled down exactly 1 year of content to February 2023 posts– and then looped back up to the most recent posts.
Posts in popular tags that are more than a year old are effectively lost and cannot be found or retrieved through the dashboard/tag search.
You can actively see where it wraps around to the current day again.
December 31st, and then the next post down is today.
