Something funny I’ve noticed is that we tend to have broadly typical interpretations, headcanons, ships and opinions about fiction we’re fans of that aren’t fictive/fictionkin sources for us.
And our opinions, ships, and interpretations of the fiction that is our fictive source material–based on our own lived experience of it– is completely unhinged in comparison to typical regular non-fictive interpretations and totally at odds with typical fans.
