What made you ship it?
The cute, awkward stage at the beginning, where they were getting to know one another in reverse. Especially Kanaya’s hero worship of Rose and her imaginary troll version of Rose!
What are your favorite things about the ship?
- They don’t spend a lot of time trying to change one another.
- Human/nonhuman pairings are just neat.
- There’s no clear het-like dynamic between them.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
It is not NEARLY as wholesome and uwu as people usually show it. They miss the toxic codependent angle.

Yes! Kanaya is in sinister system, and rose is in our partner system.

What made you ship it?
A blind person could see this ship. If nothing else, the tragic coin flip cemented it. But I’d say we shipped it from their first interaction.

- Scourge sisters! Extreme! Goblin! Energy!
- Tragic and longing
- Swings from hilarious to angsty.
