1– What’s your fic or AU’s relationship to canon?
Evil Residents AU is a continuation of the canon narrative, jumping off from the point in time that the series currently leaves off at. (RE8).
5– What kind of relationship is the fic/AU centered around? Is it a romantic relationship, or something else? How does it impact the larger story?
The AU in general focuses on relationships in RE that were left unexplored or unfinished in the narrative, that feel like they have dangling emotional threads– often, because one of the characters involved died, but sometimes because they simply never showed up in canon again.
