The archive has been under attack by malicious actors spamming their volunteers with CSEM images and attempting to post links to actual CSEM to the archive.
The organization is doing their best to handle this problem, and certain people are reacting as if AO3’s imperfect response to the situation is a malicious crime worthy of the archive’s destruction.
