I’m almost through with AA:AJ and i’m gonna say it.
Honestly? I don’t think turnabout serenade was that bad.
could it be better? sure, in the same way that all of AA:AJ could be better.
but there’s nothing wrong with “filler” cases. or cases that take it a little slower/sillier. tell me it isnt hilarious to say “romaine lettuce” a whole bunch. or that watching klavier gavin fall off stage a whole bunch cuz his goofy ass guitar went kaboom.
it was really fun to see klavier as a gavineer instead of as a prosecutor, even for a little bit. and 4-3 diffuses important information and sets up for 4-4. 4-3 is pretty good in terms of klavier characterization, too. it’s a perfectly fine case.
im a turnabout serenade defender all the way
oh my god i didn’t even notice the name pun that’s embarrassing
But honestly yeah i think the whole thing was silly and over the top but in a really good way, and even though I’m not done with 4-4 yet i can definitely see where this is going and how 4-3 works as a setup.
I feel like it uses fillers in a similar way T&T did, (which was great and super important for Godot’s character leading up to the final case)
I see some people talk about the case being worse than turnabout big top but i strongly disagree tbh. It was fun and didn’t draw out unlike other cases
Well I’m sure out of the loop… I would never have considered Turnabout Serenade a filler case– is this the general opinion?
I also wouldn’t consider anywhere near the bottom on the list of bad cases XD
