Some of y’all are trying to found-family your blorbos into a nuclear family parent/child dynamic in a way that suggests you have profoundly misunderstood the circumstances under which the one would plausibly call the other “daddy”.
I was thinking just the other day about fans who declare that two fictional characters are “chosen family” and that they therefore cannot be shipped now because it’s “incest”.
My husband is my chosen family. I chose him because I loved him and he consented to marry me.
It would be very strange if people decided that I could not be in a relationship with my husband because we are each other’s chosen family.
