It makes me so sad whenever I see someone like “omg I like the idea of [x] ship but I’m not gonna ship it because it’s problematic for [x] reason. This sucks.”
Like…no? Shipping does not mean you support the relationship, it just means that you find it interesting and would read a story about it.
You don’t need to feel bad about shipping something or try and justify it. It doesn’t matter if the reason you ship something is because of an unhealthy dynamic or because you just think one character is hot. It doesn’t matter if they’ve never met or if it doesn’t make any sense.
Go get that ship, darling!
I ship something because I think those characters would have an interesting story between theem or even simpler because I think they look pretty together. It ain’t rocket science.
