👉 Fictional characters cannot be abused.

👉 Consent does not apply to fictional characters.

👉 The only question of consent in fiction is the consent of the author, and the consent of the reader.

An author cannot write anything they do not consent to write.

As reader can always stop reading things they do not want to continue reading.

Tags and warnings in fiction are important and helpful for readers so that they do not accidentally read anything they would have preferred to avoid.

👉 Consent in fiction applies to writers and readers, not ever to the characters.

yeah if you don’t like reading certain content, simply stop reading it when it appears.

The author doesn’t need to ask your individual permission to write something. Nor can characters be abused by the author in any true sense since they do not exist.

this isn’t a difficult concept. Let people write what they want.
