Ah, shit, now Hailey (Admin) is wondering how you feel about the yandere trope because she’s conservative/repressed as fuck when it comes to expressing her ideas sinsinsi we love her but jeezus so one of us is doing it her her while Hailey (Academic) distracts her. //lhWe say this in jest. She clearly expressed a desire to ask but isn’t currently fronting nor is she going to do this herself, clearly; we gathered permission, dw lmao.TL:DR — someone in our system has anxiety and needs to know how you feel about the yandere trope. For us: we see it more often in fanfic for some reason, but we’ve watched Mirai Nikki/The Future Diary!! We also know about it purely because we once had a friend in middle school who was vaguely obsessed with 2p!Hetalia I’m very specific ways. Uh. We hope that’s not too embarrassing to say in front of our good lord and savior, the year 2022. We think you’ve probably seen the Hetalia vent on our blog. Maybe.
Man, I get the whole being too shy to front/talk about your interests shit. I’ve been there. Send my good vibes to Hailey.
Yandere trope is actually a sinister system staple. Toko and Harry both have greater or lesser shades of being yandere in their various shifts, and I KNOW they don’t feel particularly bad about it either. Harry in particular loves to play up the idea of him being a yandere toward his f/os in a lot of fic.
As for me, I’m less a yandere myself and more, uh, a yandere enjoyer… >\> I’ve got a thing for vicious, mean, jealous, possessive, violent stalkers. Heh <3 I’m into it. Tie me down and force me to love you >_>
Yandere shit is a really fun trope to play with because it involves a lot of emotions, desiring and being desired, shades of domination, etc etc. We all think it’s pretty great.
