This is gonna be controversial, but Northstar and Kyle Jinadu from Marvel comics. There’s no spice. Who even is Kyle? He has no personality. There’s no emotional center to the relationship, it just exists to get Northstar, one of the only gay mutants, out of the dating pool so they don’t have to deal with actual gay mutant romance.
Let Northstar date Bobby Drake. Or Angel. or Banshee. Or Sabretooth. Or Akihiro.
