Someday I want a Strong Female Character where the Main Dude hears “watch out for Charlie she’s crazy” and instead of being an attractive and effortless badass the Main Dude quickly surpasses with little effort at all she really is just absolutely volatile as hell. Makes exaggerated ugly facial expressions and accidentally shoots her own guy in the leg. Not the least bit graceful or efficient. Somehow completely unstoppable but not in a useful way. No edgy backstory, just likes being paid to scream at people. They never kiss

Maindude is initially intimidated, but takes some time to actually build a relationship with Charlie and try to figure her out. Maybe she can be fixed?
Charlie cannot be fixed. Charlie is in a perpetual state of Wolverine-on-a-sugar-high barely-touching-reality-at-any-edge loose-cannonity. However, if you take the time to build some trust and figure out how to communicate in ways that make sense to her, Charlie CAN be aimed.
Maindude shows up to the final confrontation with Charlie in tow with all the ‘unrealistic’ confidence of a man who knows that his doggy-purse actually contains a homicidal honey badger with a gun.
