Welp. Looks like Tumblr is no longer safe for proshippers.

This post just crossed my dash, and I figured I should let y’all lovelies know.

Tumblr, per their own godsdamned guidelines, is now allowing for the incorrect flagging of fictional content as CSEM.

Despite my being the resident asshole of the proship community, I don’t want y’all to get banned/blogs terminated/harassed.

So please spread this around, and stay safe lovelies. I don’t know how well this will work, but I don’t want to take any chances.

I really think it’s funny that they need to highlight “including drawn and written CSEM” as if any sort of sexual content is allowed on tumblr anyway. Like, all fictional NSFW, if it falls under the tos, is not allowed on the site. Fictional minors are included in that tos if the content fits what the tos defines as too graphic.

Also, the gall the call it CSEM, it makes my blood boil.

I’m noticing the actual tos doesn’t say fictional minors are included, and the report list has them as a separate item from real minors, which makes me suspect Tumblr may just be trying to filter out the large amount of bullshit reports they probably get by putting the option there.

I’m hoping that you’re right.
