Me: Don’t get mad at young people who use the term ‘irl’ instead of ‘kin or therian’. That’s what they understand to be the way to show their ‘identify as’ identity and even though it’s contributing to the disinformation about what being kin actually means, being mad at these expressions will never make them want to learn more and honestly it’s fine so long as they’re getting it out there that identities like this are real and are prevalent so –
Also me when a person in a server has an intro where they say they’re an IRL: YOU’RE KIN, YOU’RE FICTIONKIN. THAT’S WHAT YOU ARE. YOU ARE KIN. THE WORD IS KIN. STOP REINVENTING THE WHEEL IT JUST MAKES IT HARDER FOR THE OTHER/FICTIONKIN COMMUNITY TO BE UNDERSTOOD AAAAA
