Silent Hill Promise! You’ve no idea how happy I am to find this again :D I still think the last chapter being a VN is a brilliant way to incorporate multiple endings for this kind of comic! I might’ve tried a command once or twice? Anyway, I used to follow Promise on Deviantart and was pretty sad when it stopped because even though I’m too much of a scaredy cat to play the games I thought you captured the atmosphere perfectly. I always meant to reread it, but between RL and– 🍂

Anon, this message made MY day, I’m so thrilled you enjoyed Promise, and I’m thrilled that found it again!
I’m very excited to be remastering it, and revisiting the whole thing is so nice for me. It really is the creative work I’m most proud of right now, and improving it makes me happy.
I would love, one day, to make a whole visual novel, but I’m so glad you think it worked well for the ending of Promise. Like the game its based on, I just didn’t think it would be right to have just one ‘canonical’ ending.
My arm has been getting better, so I may even return to drawing comics some day…
