I always understood “age regression” as an umbrella for most age-fuckery (roleplay to regression to sliding I guess?) I’d never actualy heard of age sliding outside of a few brief mentions in pride flags, and I really only interact with the explicitly sexual kink end of things. I notice there’s less talk about that end lol…At least where I hang around (which to be fair, my caretaker does plenty of sfw caretake-ing too) I’ve never seen much of a distinction? Age Sliding and Age Regressing where I hang are used pretty interchangably, and it seems like mostly preference or which “feels right.” Some people just don’t like the words “age sliding,” and other people just don’t like the feel of “age regressing.” Again, this is probably very colored by the spaces I’m in though.
Thank you! This is how I understood the term “age regression” to be used as well! I’m glad I wasn’t alone in using it and seeing it used that way!
“Age slider” used to be used in the plural community to refer to a system member who shifted between ages instead of having a fixed age but I don’t even know if the plural community still uses it!
I was pretty sure everybody’s switched to agere including the spicy side of things. I used to see the term “ab” a lot but I don’t think that gets used any more either!
