new anon here!I saw a post where you mentioned agere and age sliding! Im not one to force people to use terms certain ways, so this is just an informative! But to my understanding some people see the difference between age regression and age sliding as this:an age slider can change ages, and their mentality and personality and sometimes memory and whatnot will be affected by the shiftan age regressor actually regresses to who they were at that age, including total or majority loss of memory past that age or point and genuinely becoming a total child or whatever. for example if I slide, I still remember things, the relationships ive formed, etc. When i regress it is VERY SCARY AND DISORIENTING sometimes because i literally dont know where i am or recognize who im with or understand whats going on (this has happened to my headmate who is our host several times but rarely)
Oh! That’s really interesting! I wasn’t aware of that distinction. I’ll be honest, I actually thought that a bunch of people had started using “agere” because of discourse surrounding other terms…
Can anybody tell me if this distinction between age sliding and agere is commonly held?
Are people who don’t fit this definition of agere welcome in the community?
Soooo…. I’m gonna guess since nobody had a reply to this, that nobody but anon cares, and even anon doesn’t care enough to send a follow up message….
so I guess I had a panic attack for nothing! ^_^
