Fucked up that
- “the straights” now refers exclusively to het people specifically and not just to anyone outside of counterculture.
- 4chan bro neonazis ruined the term “normie”
- “muggle” was always stupid and is even worse in content now.
Seriously I may have to bring back “mundanes”.
As in “freaking the mundanes.”
I just need a way to concisely and dismissively refer to people whose whole identity is related to upholding the status quo and performing “normality”.
@swole-bean-alice-bob reminded me of the existence of “squares” so expect to hear that out of my mouth a lot. 🤣
