I’m the same way as you, anon. There are plenty of mutuals we have that are into things we don’t like, but we can still interact.
I have mutuals whom i love dearly, and when they’re in a mood my entire dash is just ‘THIS POST CONTAINS -’ because i filter it.
No i don’t wanna see blorbo from your shows! But that is a me, a individual problem. And they arent evil bad people! They’re deriving joy from something that doesnt give me joy.
Its not their responsibility to hand feed me the latest shit. That kinda attitude comes from only dealing with algorithms. There is no algorithm machine here, you follow blogs you like and since they’re run by people, they aren’t always about x thing!
This is EXACTLY why we started tagging all our fandom reblogs! We know we reblog a lot of stuff that maybe some people who follow us for other reasons don’t want to see.
Which is totally cool an its awesome that there’s a tool to do that! 💖
