Idk if this is really the kind of ask you take but I’ve been wanting so bad to make a sideblog for my proshipping stuff bc I have anti mutuals on my main. But the only problematic ships I have are of my OCs, which i feel are very recognizable :/ i just dunno what i’m supposed to do with a proship sideblog if I can’t even talk about my ships… thinking i should just make a prompt/imagines blog vaguely based on my OCs instead??Sorry if this isn’t really the kind of ask you answer- just needed to get that off me and you’ve been very friendly with other anons ^^

I have a few pieces of advice for you!
First!
Your new proship sideblog doesn’t have to only be about ships that are problematic! You can totally post about your non-problematic F/Os and ships, and just hang out with all the cool proship people.
Proship isn’t about “problematic” after all, its about a community that doesn’t judge you for your ships.
We on this blog talk about non problematic ships all the time!
Second!
The easy way to safely talk about your recognizable OCs is two parts.
- preemptively block on your new blog all the anti mutuals you think will recognize you. And any other antis as well.
- If it makes you feel safer, you can refer to your OCs by codenames or emoji combos instead of their recognizable names.
Third!
Making and sharing prompts and imagines based on your OCs sounds fun and great, an we would love to see your stuff when you share it!
