It’s really a shame that we mostly only see this relationship dynamic pop up in superhero media.
The experiential concept of attraction and romance is so diverse and chaotic yet we almost always see it channeled in a certain way.
Rance isn’t always gentle and sweet and kind. Sometimes it’s firey and passionate, explosive, confused and angry.
This isn’t necessarily desirable in real life but it fiction, well, I wish we saw it more. That raw, rough passionate of wanting to shake someone, and wanting to kiss them at the same time. Enemies to lovers without the part where they completely stop being enemies.
