Proshippers are the ones with normal attitudes toward fiction.
I don’t know how to explain to antis that they are not normal for getting themselves all twisted up and panicked about the moral lives of, and harm done to, fictional characters.
Antis, nobody cares but you.
It’s not important to be normal, but it’s absolutely normal to not care that people write about bad things and taboo topics.
Policing what other people write and draw and obsessing over other people’s morals is not normal.
Antis arent allowed to any show with violence or precarious situations anymore which removes most anime, and any horror films. Sorry, obviously the people who wrote demon slayer are sick and twisted and you cant have them anymore its all mine now.
i’ve actually seen antis trying to do that recently too. trying to get rid of any books with violence in them from their bookshelf. i don’t remember the url of which tumblr user talked about it anymore but. not too long ago, probs last year, an anti on twitter made a super long post calling out any authors whoever wrote about violence.
at least the ones they were aware of. it was ridiculous how long the post was. and a lot of people rightfully clowned on them for it. hopefully someone who follows me still has a link to that. i’m pretty sure it was something that went down on twitter first.

can confirm. There’s at least one tiktok of a lady tossing books from her shelf; and the sheer dystopian censorship flashbacks it gave me were head spinning
fucking yikes. that does sound really awful. amazing how antis said they’d be reasonable enough to not cause this exact thing with their activism. AND YET. not only have they done what they said they wouldn’t. they went and did worse pro censorship takes too.
