I honestly dislike it when people are condescending and rude to others over censoring words. Yes, censorship is more unproductive than good and beneficial, but a lot of people genuinely want to be considerate and soften the blow and genuinely don’t know any better. A lot of antis, mainly from TikTok, do this so while there is reason to be wary, there’s still no excuse to be rude to people over genuine mistakes.
It’s always shitty to be rude to someone who hasn’t been rude to you first.
That said, a lot of the time the censored word messages that people are reacting to are either offensive in the first place, or the censored words are subverting blocks that people have and ending up forcing them to see messages they don’t want to. So I can understand the urge to be snippy.
