hi again, it’s the DID anon from before, yeah i have researched about DID before since i associated with people with DID before, so i wanted to know them better, i just don’t think i actually have it since it only started happening once i was in the thick of a real bad irl situation as well as an online one, but it’s persisted after them as well, and i read that it stems from childhood trauma only, not anything after, which to be fair i’ve been getting traumatized a lot and i have childhood trauma but it only started happening when i heard about it, i dunno any instance where it happened to me before then, sorry if i sounded rude, i just dunno what’s going on
Anon, you didn’t seem rude at all.
It sounds like you’ve already read a lot of the available material for dissociative Identity disorder, so I’m going to tell you something that doesn’t come up in a lot of that material.
There are other origins for and experiences of being a plural system outside of what’s characterized in the diagnostic criteria of DID.
I’ll give you some material to get started, but what you should do is look into what’s called endogenic plurality or other plurality origin types.
None of these are fantastic or complete sources but they will get you started.
