I was a late cooker due to a mix of being autistic and helicoptered, I learnt how to cook from the very beginning at my third job
🤝 that’s very similar to our experience.
We didn’t learn how to cook until we moved out of our parents house in our mid 20s due to abuse (we weren’t allowed in the kitchen).
Now we love cooking! (The cleanup not so much lol).
People don’t understand that not everyone has the resources to learn things. Not everyone has parents who will teach them things or even allow them to learn.
