I’ll be honest, I hate the term “chronically online” from both sides.

We’re ALL chronically online now because all the spaces and venues to interact with people offline have been largely destroyed and deemphasized.

How can anyone go outside and interact when everything costs money and we’re all scared of interacting with strangers irl in case they’re a killer or a child molester?

Meanwhile online spaces have been cooped by corporate social media with algorithms that drive engagement through anger and hostility.

Shit is FUCKED.

We are living in a cyberpunk dystopia.
