to put it humorously, ‘this ain’t our first rodeo’ as far as maintaining and moderating a forum that’s likely to be raided by hostile parties. 😉 (We used to run otakukin/fictionkin forums back in the 2000s/2010s).
For starters, the forum will not have open membership, members will be asked to complete a sign up form before being given access to post. These sign ups will, at least to begin with, be processed manually.
We will definitely also have a complete mod team, including mods who will be reachable during different time zones.
